For us riding horses isn't just a hobby, it's our passion.
We aim to create a solid foundation for sport riders and hobbyists.
Horseback riding lessons and instruction are an important part of keeping your equine partnership strong and enjoyable for both you and your horse. This is as true for the serious competitor working to move up the levels as it is for the hobbyist rider.
Our lesson program is designed to be a comprehensive educational program open to beginners through advanced riders.
Our program is goal oriented for the committed serious rider.
We strive to progress each student towards achieving the goal of lease/horse ownership as well as being successful in the hunter/jumper show ring.
We have safe lesson horses that will teach you what you need to know about how to control the horse in many situations.
Our emphasis is on the equitation (how you look and ride the horse) of the rider and horsemanship (how well you work as a team). We believe that if the rider has good equitation, then the rider could ride most any horse or discipline.
Whether you have a young child beginning a lifetime of horseback riding or are a seasoned competitor, Pony Gang Equestrian Services has a program to help you excel as an equestrian.

Our beginner Hunter/Jumper horseback riding lessons are only private (1 rider).
With us you can ride horses without having to own your own riding horses. Our affordable cost of riding lessons give every beginner and experienced the chance to take riding lesson. It’s $55 for a 30 minute private and 60 minutes group lesson (2-3 riders).
We teach everyone how to tack, untack and care for the horse. That includes, grooming, tacking, warming up, riding, and cooling down your horse. We want you to learn how to take care of a horse in the event you would ever want to buy one or even lease.
We offer horseback riding lessons during the week in the afternoon for most everyone's convenience. Lessons are offered:
Tuesday through Friday from 3pm - 7pm
Saturday mornings from 8am - 1:00pm.
Please sign up for your Assessment lesson, so that we can get to know you and see if we are a good fit for your Journey in the Western riding world.
During your personal; assessment lesson with us, we will go over your riding goals, tell you about our program and our facility - if you like we can tour the Equestrian area of the farm. We will then have one of our lessons horses prepared for you for a short lesson.
If you have no experience we will start teaching you the basics of English riding. If you have riding experience and like to join our program we will use this time to evaluate your skill level and where you stand as a rider. On the end we will go over what we have learned about you and offer you what program would work best for you here at Pony Gang English riding Columbia.

The 20% rule is a widely accepted guideline in the equestrian world that helps ensure the well-being of horses. This rule states that a horse should carry no more than 20% of its own body weight, including tack. By following this rule, we can prevent undue stress and potential injury to our horses.
At our riding school, we take this rule seriously. Our lesson horses typically weigh max of 1100 lbs, which means our weight limit for English riding is 190 lbs,
We apologize to anyone above these weight limits, but our priority is the health and safety of our horses. Currently, we do not have a lesson horse that can accommodate higher weights. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us care for our equine partners.
